Crafting Tailored Notion Workspaces

Hello — I’m Phaedra Joyce
I'm the founder of Notive — GitHub alum, systems thinker, passionate about helping small teams and creators work smarter — not harder.
With a background in product security, UX design, and neurodivergent-inclusive workflows, I launched Notive to bridge the gap between great ideas and sustainable execution. I know firsthand how scattered tools and clunky processes can block progress — especially for people like me with ADHD. That’s why every Notive workspace is built to be intuitive, calming, and tailored to how you think and how your team works.
Let’s build something that's actually for you.
My Story
I’m a New Jersey native and GitHub product security operations analyst who investigates vulnerabilities and design flaws in some of the world’s most-used software. Working in such a high-intensity, fast-paced field eventually led me to burnout—and to a realization: I wanted to create calm, not just fix chaos.
That’s what inspired me to found Notive.
As someone with ADHD, I’ve always been hyper-aware that every brain works differently. That means every team does too. Productivity isn’t one-size-fits-all, and tools should adapt to people—not the other way around. I chose Notion because it's deceptively simple, remarkably scalable, and flexible enough to meet people exactly where they are.
Now, I help neurodivergent founders and creative teams design systems that work with their brains—not against them. Whether it’s simplifying operations, building clarity into chaos, or creating just the right balance of structure and freedom, I design with empathy at the center of everything I do.
